Mumbai, Nov. 29 -- After legendary singing sisters Lata Mangeshkar and Asha Bhosle, the newest sibling Aduo to lend their voice in Bollywood are Shraddha and Shweta Pandit.
The young playback singers are the fourth generation of vocalists in their musical lineage. Daughters of tabla player Vishwaraj Pandit, the two are nieces of music directors Jatin-Lalit and grandnieces of Pandit Jasraj.
And like the renowned singer siblings, Shraddha and Shweta too will now be seen singing together for a film, Yash Raj Film's Ladies Vs Ricky Behl, a feat that has not been realised since Lata and Asha's collaborative days. "I think it's not happened in this generation. I wouldn't compare us with Lataji and Ashaji because they are veterans and true legends, but it's a great inspiration for many young talents who wants to make it in music," says Shweta, adding, "It's just a coincidence that we are both singers in the family.
