NEW DELHI, Oct. 5 -- Singer Daler Mehndi, who recently launched his latest album Tunak Tunak Tumba in the Capital, says the songs in his album will make listeners forget their woes.
"I am excited about Tunak Tunak Tumba, it's my most endearing project to date. It's been a beautiful journey, and all the songs are made with one simple objective, to make my listeners forget their blues and dance," says the 44 year-old singer, who played a multitasker by being the song writer, composer and producer of the album.
"Life in most ways is like a Tumba...without plucking the strings, no sound is produced! Strike the chord with love it'll make music and without love, it's all noise...random...wasteful and if you don't risk striking the chord it's just dormant, dead and not alive," adds Mehndi.
Tunak Tunak.., which is expected to hit the stores on October 8, is ridden with high dosage of power dance set on the notes of various Indian classical ragas such as Raag Bhoopali, Saraswati, Kirwani, Tilak Kamod, and Sarang. The album's first video Sheila Ho Ya Munni's teaser that was premiered on Mehndi's official youtube channel got excellent response.
