NEW DELHI, Sept. 24 -- Actor Raveena Tandon, who recently judged contestants on the show, Comedy Ka Maha Muqqabala, will return to TV shortly.
Apparently, her next is a strictly-under-wraps show that will document the success stories of achievers through conversations with their families, friends and co-workers. The wishlist of celebrities currently includes business tycoon Mukesh Ambani and West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee. The actor is however tight-lipped, and all she's willing to share is, "Yes, I'm hosting a lifestyle show for NDTV." Raveena, who was recently seen in a sparkling cameo in the film, Buddha Hoga Terra Baap, also finished shooting for the thriller, Alert, in Goa with Sanjay Dutt. She's now excited about a comedy film where she will be seen opposite Arjun Rampal, Paresh Rawal and Irrfan Khan. "It's a total nmasala movie," she says.
However, the film that the a, National Award winner is looking forward to is Sudipto Chattopadhyay's Shobhana's 7 Nights, where she plays a 40s year-old socialite-wife in a relationship with a toy boy iplayed by Amit Purohit. "It's a daringly different role. I've heard about young strugglers becoming victims of casting agents but Sudipto's film is an eye-opener," she says.
