NEW DELHI, Sept. 23 -- What you see in the picture is perhaps the largest piece of fabric Paris Hilton has ever worn. Of course, it's courtesy Indian fashion. The 30-year-old American businesswoman actor-musician, who will arrive in Mumbai on Saturday to launch her new line of handbags, has posed in six yards of desi bling for the fashion glossy Marie Claire's October Bridal Special Issue. In the shoot, conducted by Hollywood's celebrated lensman Mark Arbeit, she dons a Tarun Tahiliani sari.
"I am obsessed with Indian designers. I love the whole Swarovski bling and all those crystals. It is gorgeous and yes, maybe I have designs on some of them for my next outing on the red carpet," says Hilton in an exclusive interview with Neena Haridas, editor, Marie Claire India.
Haridas says that during the shoot, Paris was quite the anti-thesis of the fussy image she has. "The Paris we saw was down-to-earth, and a determined businesswoman.
