New Delhi, Aug. 30 -- Bigg Boss 5 is gearing up to come on air early October. Before that, Sanjay Dutt and Salman Khan will be seen across 10 audio-visual promos and a music video to promote the show they're co-hosting for the first time.
The shooting was completed in July in a city studio within 48 hours. Conceptualised by Hemant Kumar and Rupesh Kashyap from Orchard Advertising Agency, the videos have been directed by Rohit Shetty. The first two promos are likely to be on air starting this weekend.
Rajesh Iyer, associate vice president, marketing, Colors, the show's broadcaster, says that his anchors haven't grown up yet. "Sallu (Khan) and Baba (Dutt) are known as the original brats of Bollywood. That was essentially what we wanted to bring out in the videos. We wanted them to have fun. They even added a lot of lines pretty spontaneously on the sets. Those additions made the final videos a lot more fun and entertaining," he says.
One of the promos shows them enjoying each other's company over maska-pav and cutting chai. The others show them chilling on a car bonnet, sleeping on each other's laps, playing carrom, chatting on a see-saw, riding a Sholay bike and working out.
