Salman Khan never fails to entice you with his wittiness and presence of mind. After giving the biggest blockbuster of 2010, the Dabangg Khan is back to entertain the audience with Ready, also starring Asin Thottumkal.

After the success of Dabangg, you are ba
ck with Ready. What can the audience look forward to?
Koshish kar rahe hain ki Dabangg ke safal ke baad ye asafal na ho (We are trying our best to ensure that after the success of Dabangg, this film does not become unsuccessful). We have worked very hard on this film. I hope you guys enjoy it. It's a family comedy film. The film revolves around three families.

How do you rate Asin's performance?
Asin's performance is very bad (winks). That's why we have taken her. Picture required a girl who would work very badly just like she did in Ghajini and London Dreams. We asked her to work even more badly in Ready and when you'll see the film, you won't believe.

I love her name Tho-ttum-kal… Kya kar rahi ho.

What's your dream girl like?
Asin.

In the film, I'm in search of a girl who is kamini+ khuddar. Lekin aaj kal aisi ladkiya milti kaha hai, sabki toh shaadi ho chuki hai (But these days we don't find such girls, they are already married).

What are the things you are 'Ready' for in life?
I'm ready for Asin but Asin is not ready for me.

Asin-SalmanWould you like SRK to see Ready?
Asin and Bhushan (producer) will show it to him. Asin has worked with me and Aamir. She's damn good in the film. So I'm sure she would want SRK to see the film and to know what he's missing out on. This is what she told me before.

You said in an interview that you're happy playing a hero and won't play a superhero. So are you targeting SRK since he's playing one in Ra.One?
No, I wish him all the best. I hope the film becomes the hugest success ever. And you make sure you ask him as many questions about me when he is promoting Ra.One. OK.

What's the history behind the popular 'I me myself' dialogue from Ready.
It's Aneez Bazmee's creation. The thought behind it is I know many people who remain in 'I me myself.' So when these people are actually like this, why can't I be like that in the film. Although, I'm not like this in real life.

How did you choose Sri Lanka for Ready's shooting?
When I went to Sri lanka for IIFA, I loved the locations. So then I suggested it to Bazmee. It's a beautiful place to shoot.

How did you give bulk dates for the film.
He (Bhushan) gave me a lot of money.

Are you behind Ready's out-of-the-box steps just like you choreographed for Dabangg?
Credit goes to Asin. One day she was wearing these really baggy pants and she had her hands in the pocket. So that was a nice movement that we picked (laughs).

Genre of comic action seems to be your favourite.
Comic action requires a lot more timing and a lot more effort. It's 100 times more difficult to do comic action than serious action.

What does success means to you?
More than anything it means respect because if your health is fine and you have respect, everything else is simple to earn.

You are being accused of illegally buying a plot in Panvel. What's your take on that?
It should be reported correctly. I have land there but my land titles are very clear. These things always come out before the release of a film. So I don't think you should take these things seriously.
