Pranky Akshay, cranky Aarti!

By Hindustan Times

Mumbai, May 30 -- Hello hello my cashew cookies! What's up with you this Monday morning? I know you so want to laze about in your beds a while longer, but there's so much lined up for me to complete today... Ki kya kahoon! Now before I go on and on about moi like many other self-absorbed people out there, let me share with you some natkhat nuggets from tinsel town. So read on sweetums...

Looks like Akshay Kumar didn't indulge in as much masti during his bachpan ke din as much as he's doing in adulthood. More so since he started hosting the reality action show on Colors coupla years ago. And now that he's back after a year's gap, thanks to Priyanka Chopra, he's living up to his prankster image.

Sher Lock Holmes tells me that on the first day's shoot on the streets of Cape Town, he was to take a break before the second stunt. But he continued to brief the female contestants on what they were going to do next: crossing the highway, battling heavy traffic and speeding cars to get to the other side and pick up flags in a stipulated time.

And the first gal Akki picked for this stunt happened to be Aarti Chhabria. Bas, aur kya? My super sleuth informs me that she got super nervous just at the thought of having to cross the road. Bechari Chhabria was saying her prayers and just when she was about take the first step to cross, the Khiladi Kumar revealed that he was actually joking. Not surprisingly, all the other girls were amused and burst into a laugh, but Aarti burst into tears.

Seems she felt she was being singled out and bullied by her co-star of Awara Paagal Deewana. Whatever, but the title couldn't be any more apt in this situation. What say, Akki, Aarti?
