Item time for stars!

A bevy of Bollywood stars are doing sassy numbers in films this year. Here are some actors who will raise the mercury with their moves.
After Sheila ki Jawaani, Kat will reportedly do a ‘special song’ in Aamir Khan’s Delhi Belly. Deepika Padukone an
d Mallika Sherawat were also being considered for it, but Imran Khan chose his Mere Brother Ki Dulhan co-star. The song was conceptualised recently, as part of promotions for the film. When Imran was asked why he chose Katrina, 26, he jokingly said, “Her jawaani is very attractive.” However, a formal announcement is yet to be made.
After grooving to Razia gundo mein phas gayi in Thank You, Mallika has shot steamy numbers for Double Dhamaal and Bin Bulaaye Baraati. Jalebi Bai, in which Mallika sizzles in a maroon lehenga, is choreographed by Ganesh Acharya and Mallika is dressed in a maroon brocade lehenga with a crystal studded bustier. For Shalu Ke Thumke in Bin Bulaaye Baraati, Mallika takes on Munni and Sheila in the lyrics.
Bebo, who had earlier grooved to Mar Jaani in Shah Rukh’s Billo, will again do a sizzling number for Shah Rukh in his next Ra.One. The song, Chammak Challo, has been choreographed by Ganesh Hegde and composed by international singer Akon. Kareena, 30, has classical moves in the song, which has a very southern feel. “I’d be lying if I didn’t say it would be the biggest song of 2011. But I’ll let the audience see it, and say it for me,” Kareena has said about the song.
For the first ever time, Ranbir, 28, will perform an item number in Chillar Party. In the song titled Tayyn Tayyn Fissh, Ranbir will pay a tribute to his father Rishi Kapoor by emulating his looks from the song Purdah Hai Purdah from Amar Akbar Anthony. He has finished shooting for the qawwali number, choreographed by Bosco-Caesar. Ranbir, who calls the song a “promotional video”, liked dancing with the kids so much that he added some of his own steps.
Shah Rukh Khan
SRK will recreate the magic of Dard-e-disco for his home production, Always Kabhi Kabhi. The actor is not a part of the film, but has performed a song titled Antenna as a promotional tool for the film that stars newbie Zoa Morani and Giselli Monteiro. Shah Rukh, 45, flew in between the IPL matches to shoot for the song choreographed by Bosco-Caesar and shot in the backdrop of a jail. He also worked hard on his body to look in shape for the catchy number. “It is not an item number. The song is in the beginning of the film,” says SRK.
Chitrangda, 35, will be doing a ‘sizzling salsa number’ in Rohit Dhawan’s Desi Boyz. and the actor is excited about the number because she loves to dance. She’s looking forward to the it and has hired a dance instructor, Lakshya, in Delhi who’s been training her some tough dance moves. The song is going to be choreographed by Bosco-Ceasar. The actor however plans to continue her classes even after this song.
