Hollywood actor Hugh Jackman may have a date with Bollywood stars during his India visit when he lands in Mumbai on the afternoon of March 24.
If things work out, Bollywood actors Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Sonakshi Sinha will rub shoulders with the X-Men Origins: Wolverine star at the 12th FICCI FRAMES annual entertainment convention in Mumbai, to be held from March 23-25.
The Australian actor is heading to India to attend the valedictorian ceremony at the convention on March 25 and if sources are to be believed, Aishwarya and the one-film-old Sonakshi could be sharing the same stage as the Australian actor-producer.
“She (Aishwarya) has been asked by Karan Johar and Yash Chopra to grace this occasion but has to still revert after checking her schedule,” says Aishwarya’s spokesperson.
Officials at Frames, however, say, “We haven’t given out any details but we are trying to get Aishwarya and Sonakshi for the event. Hugh JackmanHowever, nothing has been decided yet and we are yet to give out a final guest list. But if they come, it’s obvious that he (Jackman) will meet them.” Sources also inform that Jackman’s publicists are constantly trying to evade Indian media.
Other B-Town celebrities expected to grace the event are filmmakers Karan Johar, Siddharth Roy Kapoor, Sudhir Mishra, Kiran Rao, Maneesh Sharma and Abhishek Sharma, and actors Kamal Hassan, , Ranveer Singh with lyricist Jaideep Sahni for different panels.
The three-day gala will be inaugurated by Sachin Pilot, Union Minister of State for Communications and IT and the inaugural session of the same will witness James Murdoch as its keynote speaker.
