After 'Rice Plate', Rohit Roy to start next film

Rohit Roy has completed his first film -- a short story called RICE PLATE in DUS KAHANIYAAN -- and he’s ready to embark on his next directorial venture, a film based on love, lust and relationships in Mumbai. “It’s a slice of life film, revolving around people living in a metropolis,” states Rohit.

Rohit’s wife, Mansi Joshi Roy’s production company, will produce the film with Sanjay Gupta’s White Feather Films. “Sanjay has been extremely supportive. Manasi has been the executive producer on three out of ten stories in DUS KAHANIYAAN and is all ready to take the big plunge,” adds Rohit The casting of the film is still undecided.

Meanwhile, Rohit awaits the response to his work in DUS KAHANIYAAN. Naseeruddin Shah and Shabana Azmi feature in RICE PLATE.
