Nikhil Advani hunts for teen-actor to play Akshay in Patiala House
| By Bollywood Hungama News Network Nikhil Advani is on a quest for a teen-actor to play Akshay Kumar at 17 in his next film Patiala House. The director, who has worked with Akshay in Chandni Chowk To China, has decided to launch a national hunt to find a young boy to play the younger Akshay Kumar. The contest will start on December 1 and go on till December 15 and the finalist will be selected by Nikhil Advani and Akshay Kumar himself. Patiala House will go on floors in December this year and will be shot extensively at South Hall, London. It's a story of Gurkreeat Singh Kalon (Rishi Kapoor) who rules his family with an iron hand. Akshay Kumar plays his son. Besides Rishi and Akshay, the film also stars Anushka Sharma and Dimple Kapadia. Scheduled for a 2010 Diwali release, the film is produced by Bhushan Kumar and Mukesh Talreja. Bookmark/Search this post with: |
