Mumbai, May 2 -- After Imran Khan, Abhay Deol and various others, yet another star nephew will now make his Bollywood debut. Joining the bandwagon is Madhuri Dixit's nephew, Sheehan Dixit.
Though the young actor is contractually restricted from divulging any information about his launch, he confirms the news, while revealing only a few details about the movie. "I have signed a film and it will mark my acting debut," says Sheehan, adding "I play the lead role in a romantic comedy. It's going to be a fun film. I am yet to begin shooting as the schedule is due to start next month. That's all I can say at this point in time."
Ask the 26-year-old whether bagging a lead role - with the veteran star Madhuri as his aunt - was an easier task and he argues, "She's my dad's first cousin, but she didn't help me in getting this part. I got it by myself."
Even though Sheehan has watched a lot of Madhuri's films, he admits that the actor "didn't inspire him to get into the industry". "I was doing a two-year computer animation course, when I participated in an acting workshop. It was then that I actually discovered my love for acting," he says.
