New Delhi, July 28 -- Actor Neha Dhupia, 30, may have recently said that she felt odd locking lips with senior actor Raghuvir Yadav in their upcoming film, Gandhi to Hitler, but Yadav, says he can't figure out what the fuss is all about.
In the scene, Yadav, who plays Hitler, is going to commit suicide and decides to ask Dhupia, who plays his long time companion, Eva Braun, to marry him. "Mujhe ajeeb nahi laga. Unhe ajeeb laga hoga (She may've felt odd, not me). In the scene, there was death in front of me and we both wanted to be together before that. Aise to bahut cheezein ajeeb lagni chahiye, main suicide karne jaa raha hun yeh bhi ajeeb lagna chahiye (That way, a lot of things should feel weird, like committing suicide, too). I felt no hesitation in accepting or doing it," says Yadav.
A few days ago, Dhupia had said, "It definitely felt odd to do that kissing sequence." The role of Hitler in the film, directed by Rakesh Ranjan, was earlier offered to Anupam Kher, but he refused as he felt it would have upset his fans. Yadav, however, says, "I'm an actor. If I do a role, that does not mean I become that person." The film opens on Friday.
