The sequel of Tanu Weds Manu, starring double-role playing Kangana and R. Madhavan. The film will be releasing on the 22nd of this month, and post Kangana’s Queen, even Bollywood is looking forward to this film!
Quirky, crazy, and everything that Kangana stands for in the first part of Tanu Weds Manu! The vocals by Brijesh Shandllya and Swati Sharma are awesome too! Lyrics? Rocking!
2. Mat Jaa Re
Ankit Tiwari has sung this depressing song and hasn’t done a great job at it. The song in general is pretty crappy, and puts off the mood that was set by the first song.
3. Ghani Bawri
Yet another wedding son, this one isn’t as awesome at the first one! Sung by Jyoti Nooran, who really has a very different voice. The song’s got a remix version that is perfect for a wedding cocktail party! The beats are quite cool!
4. Old School Girl
Sung by Anmol Malik, this song isn’t as fun as the title of the song makes it seem. It’s a jazz kind of a song, and they’ve done a good job at it. But, why would you add such a song to your album? And oh my God, there’s a Haryanvi version of this song too! And I so, so, so like this more!!!! Everyone’s got to hear this one, by Kalpana Gandharv!
5. Move On
An extremely lame track. Horrible lyrics, terrible music, and badly sung by Sunidhi Chauhan. The makers of this song clearly need to move on and no one else!
6. Ho Gaya Hai Pyar
A romantic track, in the refreshing voice of Dev Negi. Finally something nice after the first track of the album.
7. O Sathi Mere
A typical, over-dramatic, overly-romantic, sickening romantic Sonu Nigam song.
Overall an okay album with only one song (Banno) that really stands out and will be memorable. The rest are just fillers. Hoping that the movie has more to offer!
