If we’ve got a film directed by Sajid Khan and having Riteish Deshmukh along with Saif Ali Khan and Ram Kapoor, it’s got to be a comedy. In this film, we have all three actors in triple roles, opposite Bipasha Basu, Esha Gupta and Tamannaah Bhatia (for those of you who don’t remember, she was in the lead role in Himmatwala doing strange dance moves along with Ajay Devgan). The comedy releases on 20Th June, 2014!
Sung by Neeraj Shridhar and Neeti Mohan, this number would probably give a gist of what the movie will be like! It’s random and nonsensical humor, but one of those songs that stick in the head no matter what you do. The video is indescribably funny. Not good funny, not bad funny, just WTF funny!
Piya Ke Bazaar
Calling itself “the one stop shop for love”, this item number-feel song is just lame and makes no sense. The video is even lamer, and Saif Ali Khan and Riteish Deshmukh look like a father-son duo in colourful clothes and desperately dancing around some equally desperate “young” (somewhere Bipasha will feel good today) girls. The song is sung by Shalmali Kholgade, Palak Muchhal and Himesh Reshammiya.
Just Look Into My Eyes
Since it’s tradition now to have at least one party song with some hardcore clubbing, some flying hair, and some close-ups on lips, ass and everywhere else, this album has one too, where all the men turn into DJ dudes and all the women turn into “I’m so hot” mode. This song though, is special. This club, has a car-wash section. This song is disco music and amateur lyrics (definitely doesn’t suit Saifu uncle). Not a song I would want to groove on. Sung by Ash King and Neeti Mohan.
A very random number, that’s got nothing special about it. The song is sung by Sanam Puri and Shalmali Kholgade. Thank god it’s a short number.
Hum Pagal Nahi Hai
Shot in a mental hospital from what I can make out, and sung by Himesh Reshammiya, this song is just ridiculous. It’s amost like making fun of the audience for listening to this song or watching the video. I really don’t know what Bebo is doing to him, but Saifu has definitely lost it. As far as Riteish Deshmukh concerns, he never really had it, so that’s okay.
Khol De Dil Ki Khidki
Mika Singh rocks the song, along with Palak Muchhal. It’s a fun, light and crazy song. The video is another WTF funny. The 3 lea men appear as old (Saif), fat (Ram Kapoor) and super hot (Riteish Deshmukh) waitresses and bump into their doppelgangers while running like bimbos on the beach. I cannot count the number of times I have seen Riteish Deshmukh dressed as a girl, and he’s pretty darn good at it!
No concluding comments on the album. I just need to find my brain right now.
