Ranveer-Arjun's bromance has set the box office on fire, as the film's collections stand close to Rs. 50 crore. The Valentine's Day release brought back the angry young man to Bollywood.
"Gunday Fri 16.12 cr, Sat 12.63 cr, Sun 15.18 cr. Total: Rs. 43.93 cr nett. India biz only. Excellent!" tweeted trade analyst Taran Adarsh.
The film had opened to mixed reviews by critics, but looking at the current collections, it seems to be on the right track.
"Gunday landing cost: Rs. 50 cr [inclusive of P & A]. Chunk of the investment due from Satellite rights [Rs 20 cr to 25 cr]. Gunday balance investment to be recovered from India and Overseas theatrical, music and Home Video," Adarsh posted on Twitter.
