Mumbai, Jan. 28 -- Usually, it is the leading ladies of Bollywood who take hours to get ready before a shot, what with their elaborate hair, make-up and outfits.
And it looks like Arjun Kapoor and Ranveer Singh got a taste of this routine while shooting for their next, Gunday.
The actors had to report to the sets early since it took time to put on the bronzer required for their characters' looks.
An insider from the film's team reveals, "For the film, which is set in Kolkata, both the boys needed to get on tan make-up before their shots. These were bare-body scenes so it wasn't just their faces that needed to look a few shades darker."
And it seems that the tan took nearly three hours to set each day. The insider says, "It would take them three hours to put on the make-up and then two hours later to get it off. And in order to have everything ready on time, in spite of sometimes shooting till late in the night, Arjun and Ranveer would wake up much before everyone else and report on the sets."
Ask Arjun about this, and he says, "It was more difficult for me than Ranveer as he had to go only two shades darker, while my look was nearly four shades darker than my usual skin tone."
