Bang Bang Music Review

By Tulsi, News Network

The very famous Hritik and Katrina starrer, Bang Bang is all set hit the theatres on 2nd of October, which is tomorrow! The film, produced by Fox Star Studios, is an action thriller – a remake of the Hollywood film Knight And Day. The title is super-interesting. What about the music album? Let’s see!

1. Meherbaan

The song starts off as a beautiful and soothing melody, but suddenly transforms into something dramatic and loud. It’s a nice song, but the dramatic transition really wasn’t required! The lyrics aren’t very creative. Yet, the song’s got a ring to it. The voices of Shekhar Ravijiani and Shilpa Rao are lovely, and I think it’s this that makes the song so sexy. Hritik and Katrina look so sizling together, even if it’s just a romantic song.

The reprise version is also very nice! It’s got lovely guitar strings, and is much more simpler than the original. Love it even more than the original.

2. Tu Meri

A party song that’s already doing the rounds on the radio. Sung by Vishal Dadlani, this song is not just an awesome dance track but also quite romantic and makes you fall in love. Kind of. I like it! I wish I could have said the same about the video, but Hritik’s over-the-top dance steps take away the magic.

3. Uff

This song starts with some retro guitar and I already like it! Sung by Harshdeep Kaur and Benny Dayal, this song is cute. The tune is very different. The retro feel quickly fades away in the song but it’s still different.  I wouldn’t listen to it too many times though.

4. Bang Bang

The title track, the actors’ favourite, and the goodbye song of the film. It’s the first song that came out, but it’s really not as great as it’s supposed to be. Sung by Benny Dayal and Neeti Mohan and well composed music, again very retro. That’s the only thing I like about the song. The video though is very sexy, stylish and interesting. Hritik looks dashing and Katrika looks stunning, both at their best!

All in all, it’s a superb album, just as expected (though the album doesn’t come across as an action thriller film)! How much would I give it? A 4 out of 5!
