Main Hoon Na, now in 3D!

Shah Rukh Khan and director-turned-actor Farah Khan, who have apparently mended the cracks in their friendship by working together in her next film, Happy New Year, are also now getting ready to celebrate 10 years of the choreographer’s directorial debut Main Hoon Na (2004).
A source close to Farah reveals that they are planning to convert the film into 3D. “Farah and Shah Rukh have discussed the idea of converting the film and releasing it in 2014,” says the source.
The duo came up with the idea because of the many action sequences in the film. “In addition to the love story and the family drama, there are quite a few stunts that will look better in 3D. There are a few thrills that would be a visual treat for the audience, if re-generated. That’s how the brainwave came up. If the plan materialises, it would be the best way to celebrate a decade in creative friendship,” says the source.
The plan is still at a nascent stage as the duo is presently busy with Happy New Year. They had last worked together in Om Shanti Om (2007).
Main Hoon Na had Shah Rukh playing an army officer working undercover as a college student to protect a general’s daughter (Amrita Rao) from a militant (Suniel Shetty) from across the border. Along the way, he finds his half-brother (Zayed Khan) and stepmother (Kirron Kher).
