Mahesh Manjrekar plays A Saint…

By IndiaFM

Mahesh Majrekar will be seen as a saint in an English film directed by Amol Shetge. The film titled The Saint Who Thought Otherwise also stars Kamaal Sidhu, Sayali Bhagat and Sandhya Mridul, playing the three damsels in the saint’s life.

Amol Shetge’s Marathi venture Aboli was critically acclaimed and has films like Naam Gum Jayega, Rain and Gunaah to his credit as far as Hindi cinema is concerned. Amol Shetge says that after making films in Marathi and Hindi, the only reason why he decided to make The Saint Who Thought Otherwise in English was because the script demanded it. The shooting of the film is almost over.

Having all praises for Mahesh Manjrekar, Shetge said that Majrekar is a great performer in whatever he does. The reason for the selection of Kamal Sidhu was because of her good command over English and same held true for Sayali and Sandhya.
