Mumbai, Jan 31 (IANS) Actress Shilpa Shetty, who took Odissi lessons from an Orissa-based dance guru for an India-China joint film venture, says the classical Indian dance form was tough to learn and perform.
"Odissi is complicated and among all the songs I've ever shot, this has been the most difficult," Shilpa writes on her blog.
The actress, along with Jayaprada, had learnt Odissi from Guru Ratikant Mohapatra, son of legendary Odissi exponent late Kelucharan Mohapatra during the shoot of the film in Kerala.
“It's been a hectic week in Kerala,” Shilpa says in her post Jan 26 after having shot some dance scenes for the film tentatively titled "The Desire”.
