Actor Lara Dutta returned home from the Lilavati hospital in Mumbai with her newborn daughter, Saira, on Tuesday. Dressed in an off-white salwar-kameez, the actor looked tired.
On Sunday, she had tweeted to thank her friends and fans for their good wishes: [email protected] and I Thank you, EVERYONE for all your prayers and wishes....”
Mahesh was keen on having a daughter. “Mahesh is very excited and would like to have a daughter. However, as a mother, when you are going through the experience of carrying a baby for nine months, the first-and-foremost priority is to have a healthy baby,” Lara had told HT Cafe.
During her baby shower, Lara had stated that 90 per cent predictions suggested it’s a baby boy. She had said: “And as for us, we don’t know. So, we will be equally surprised. I don’t mind if it’s a boy or a girl.”
Predictions might have gone wrong, but the couple is surely on cloud nine with the new addition to the family.
