'Lage Raho Munnabhai' bags four National Awards


New Delhi, June 10 (IANS) It was Bollywood's day at the National Awards Tuesday with "Lage Raho Munnabhai" bagging four awards, Konkona SenSharma getting best supporting actress for "Omkara" and Madhur Bhandarkar being tagged best director for "Traffic Signal".

The National Award for best feature film has gone to the Malayalam film "Pulijanmam". Veteran Bengali thespian Soumitra Chatterjee got the award for best actor for his role in "Podokkhep" while Tamil cinema's Priyamani got the best actress award for "Paruthi Veeran".

"Lage Raho Munnabhai" won the National Award for best screenplay, best lyricist, best supporting actor and best popular film providing wholesome entertainment.
