Mumbai, Jan. 5 -- Good morning my salted pistachios! I love the city's weather these days. What fun it is to enjoy the nip in the morning air with a hot cup of masala chai! And then, I have all my jasoos types filling me in with piping hot gossip. Once I share them with you, my day is made. I bet you can't find someone more dedicated to gossip than moi!
For starters, Sher Lock Holmes has turned in a piece of goss about comeback queen Karisma Kapoor and never-outof-work lady Divya Dutta. Believe it or burrp! But the latter is making the former jealous and insecure. Now, you might wonder how, since Lolojaan is slimmer, prettier and far more commercially successful.
Point is that she and Divyaji have been cast together in Vikram Bhatt's Dangerous Ishq. And Karismaji, after disallowing any intimacy in the film, has been asking to see the rushes because she wants to know if Divya's performance is better than hers, considering she's always been a character actor and can pull off any role with ease. The 'rivalry' is not new. Back in 1997-98, the actors were vying for the National Award in the same category. Divya had been nominated for The Train To Pakistan and Karisma for Dil To Pagal Hai, and then, Karisma had bagged the honours.
No prizes for guessing how. But now, the situation is different. Karisma and Divya have similar screen time in the movie. And ever since a chunk of the film has been wrapped up, Loloji has been asking for th rushes and hasn't yet been shown anything as yet. Hmmm, intezaar karo... who knows fal shayad meetha ho!
