Kareena delays dubbing for film

Mumbai, June 28 -- Kareena Kapoor, who plays a lead role in director Prakash Jha's next Satyagraha, has apparently left the dubbing for the film midway in order to celebrate older sister Karisma's birthday on June 25.

"Prakashji must be angry with me as I have not completed the dubbing of the film," said Kareena, when she joined the team on video conference from London at Jha's launch of the film's first theatrical trailer.

Another star who joined in via video was Ajay Devgn, who is on a family trip to the UK capital as well. Jha and the rest of the cast, including Amitabh Bachchan, Manoj Bajpayee and Amrita Rao, joined them in Mumbai.

This is Kareena's first film with Jha and she reportedly plays an international journalist in it. "This is a pivotal role because my character actually puts together the whole revolution that the rest of the cast has triggered (sic)," says Kareena. Satyagraha was supposed to hit theatres on Independence Day, but Jha admits that he moved it to August 23 to avoid clashing with Shah Rukh Khan's Chennai Express (August 8) and the Akshay Kumar-starrer Once Upon A Time in Mumbaai Dobara (August 15). "The film needs space. There were two big movies, so I have moved mine to a later date," says Jha.

However, the trailer still says 'This Independence Day, let the revolution begin'. When asked about this, Jha says, "It has nothing to do with the release date, we are just saying that the revolution begins on Independence Day."
