MUMBAI, Feb. 25 -- A few weeks ago, we had reported how actor John Abraham offered his office premises as a shooting location for his upcoming film, I, Me Aur Main. Now, he's done it again, going a step further by shooting a song in his own house.
A source from the production house reveals, "The makers were planning to shoot a video for the remixed version of the song, 'Saajana'. It was all planned at the last minute, so they were having some trouble finalising a location. That's when John stepped in and offered to let them shoot at his house."
The actor lives in a very stylishly designed Bandra penthouse, and this is the first time he has let anyone shoot inside it. The source says, "The video has been shot on his terrace and has turned out really well. It was very nice of John to step in and sort out the matter."
Director Kapil Sharma too is grateful for his lead actor's generosity. "The song had become popular very quickly, so all of us - T Series, Reliance Entertainment, Goldie Behl and Shrishti Behl - decided on a remixed version of the song. It was quite short notice, and John has been busy with other shoots, so it was really gracious of him to offer his terrace to shoot," he says.
As a result, the video turned out even better than they had expected. "The personal touch of shooting in John's own space, coupled with him singing a soulful, romantic song was exactly the right magic we needed for the video," says Kapil.
