Mumbai, March 3 -- British born R&B singer Jay Sean loves Bollywood. Talking about his love for acting, he says, "Bollywood is a door that will always remain open to me. I know I can't do a lead role, but I like the idea of acting in a movie. I keep getting scripts all the time about a guy from London who comes to India for a concert. I can't do that!"
Sean admits he'd like to meet Priyanka Chopra and that he misses good friend Abhishek Bachchan. "He's a good bloke. He has come to all my concerts whenever he's been free," says Sean. The singer has only released two tracks from his latest album Freeze Time - '2012' and 'Hit the lights', which is a second collaboration with famous American R&B star, Lil Wayne.
For his new album, Sean is touring the world, releasing only a single at a time. "This album has a little bit of everything. There are some slow jams, R&B, pop ballads, dance music and even baby-making music. I want this to be perfect," says the singer.
'Hit the lights' is already making waves on the US charts. "It's a song I've always wanted to do. I know I'm good on radio, but I wrote this song because I wanted to hear it play in a club. It's got that energy," says Sean. He is looking forward to an India tour post the release of his album. Having finished a US tour, attending the Grammys and touring South Africa, he is now headed back to London. He says, "I have already started work on my next album."
