Mumbai, May 14 -- Sri Lankan actor Jacqueline Fernandez, who stars in Murder 2, has bowled over Mahesh and Mukesh Bhatt with her acting. According to the film's producers, Jackie aka Jacqueline has handled her bold scenes with a lot of "confidence and ease".
"We've worked with Bipasha Basu in Jism (2003) and with Mallika Sherawat in Murder (2004). But I feel even they wouldn't have been able to do these scenes with such ease. I'm sure Jackie'll be a surprise package once the film comes out," says Mukesh. Mahesh Bhatt goes the length to call Jacqueline "our Kim Basinger".
"For Jacqueline, doing bold scenes is as easy as smiling or walking. I have worked with so many actresses and for most of them, doing the bold scenes was a job. Jacqueline introduces a new generation of actors who don't make a big deal out of things," he says.
Interestingly, the Bhatts apparently had a fallout of sorts with Mallika and Bipasha. The latter apparently threw tantrums over doing an item number in Murder 2 while makers alleged that post-Murder, instead of being grateful to the producers, Mallika tried to hog all the limelight for the success of the film. Jacqueline plays a seductress in the sequel.
