New Delhi, May 31 -- Choreographer turned director Remo D'Souza says that he would love to direct Dhak Dhak girl Madhuri Dixit. The director of the India's first 3D dance film, ABCD, says, "There is nobody like Madhuri. She is awesome. I'm dying to work with her. If there will be any role that suits her, I will certainly go up to her. It will be a pleasure to direct her."
Interestingly, Remo, who is co-judging the latest season of celebrity dance reality show Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa, along with Madhuri and filmmaker Karan Johar, is quite excited about the same. Talking about the same, the 39 year-old says, "It is just like homecoming for me, as we three had great fun judging the show last year. I am very excited and am looking forward to be part of the journeys of these contestants."
Ask him about the reports that suggest he is planning to turn producer with a film starring actors Rajeev Khandelwal and Zareen Khan, and he says, "There is no denying that I am looking at turning producer, but nothing is sure as of now. But yes, we are in talks and have even spoken to Rajeev and Zareen."
What about a sequel to ABCD?
"It will happen at the end of the year. It will be much bigger. But before that, I am directing an action adventure flick, which stars actor Siddharth Malhotra in the lead. It is still untitled," he says. And who, as per him, is the best dancer in the industry? "I think Hrithik is the best; Ranbir is also fantastic. In girls, Kareena is great."
