Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan, who received a notice from the Supreme Court over Income Tax payment, says he will follow the law. A petition was filed by the Income Tax department that Amitabh Bachchan owes Rs. 1.66 crore in taxes for his show Kaun Banega Crorepati for the year 2001-2002.
"There are two things in life that are inevitable, death and Income Tax. I will follow the court's order," he told reporters at the unveiling of the first promo of Jolly LLB on Tuesday.
Bachchan was the guest of honour at the promo launch of Subhash Kapoor's film Jolly LLB, which stars Arshad Warsi, Amrita Rao and Boman Irani.
