Actor Akshay Kumar says it’s good to promote films at sports events. A sports enthusiast himself, he had promoted his film, Special 26, at a hockey match in the Capital, a few days ago.
“It’s a win-win situation for both films and sports. I was there not just for my film but also for the sport. Whether it’s kabaddi, hockey, cricket or martial arts, I’ve always been there to support,” says Akshay, one of the fittest actors in Bollywood. “I believe that if you can’t give one hour to your body in 24 hours, then you should kill yourself,” he adds.
Coming to his film, Akshay plays the leader of a 26-member gang who pretend to be law enforcement officials and conduct fake income tax raids. “My character of a confident conman is a real character and till date nobody has been able to trace him down. It’s a part which you can’t forget,” he says.
Talk about his co-star Kajal Aggarwal, and Akshay is all praises for her. “She’s a beautiful, talented and positive girl. Her beauty lies in her eyes. This is my first movie with her and I’ve enjoyed working with her thoroughly because of her professional attitude. I assume it comes from the South where she has done so many films or may be her upbringing,” he signs off.
