The song composed by music maestro AR Rahman and sung by Udit Narayan and Chinmayee, was picturised on Aamir Khan and Rani Mukerji. The song became popular for its joyful lyrics and beats, and also because Aamir sang a few lines.

Holi seems incomplete without dancing to the tunes of Rang barse. This Amitabh Bachchan-Rekha song is touted as the best Holi song and has ruled the hearts of many for over two decades and is still going strong. There are a number of remixes that followed but nothing was as good as the original.
