Bollywood star Hrithik Roshan was discharged today from a suburban hospital where he underwent a brain surgery to remove a two-month-old clot.
"I am fantastic," Hrithik said while posing for the shutterbugs after being discharged from the Hinduja hospital this afternoon.
The actor was operated upon last Sunday at Hinduja Healthcare Surgical in Khar for subdural hematoma (collection of blood in the space between the outer layer and middle layers of the covering of the brain) as a result of head injury he had suffered two months back while performing stunts for his upcoming film Bang Bang.
The shooting of Bang Bang was postponed following the incident.
The actor is said to have been advised complete rest for at least four weeks.
He recently got emotional on social media sites and posted a poem on Facebook and dedicated it to his sons Hrehaan and Hridhaan.
This is what the Bollywood superhero posted on his Facebook wall: "Innocence inspires so silently and discreetly and yet all so powerfully! Missing my sons. (I’m not allowed to see them yet..). The following words I write for them inspired BY them...And wish to hear it from them someday ...."
And the poem ran thus:
"If I could fly... i'd fly my highest.
When I can run... i'll run my fastest.
If I walk... i'll walk my tallest.
If I stand... i'll stand my strongest.
If I need to sit... i'll sit with my head up.
If I must sleep... i'll soar above clouds in my mind.
If I can...I will. I can. So I will.
I'm Great. No matter what."
Hrithik Roshan did not forget his 3 million plus fans on Twitter either. He tweeted, "Der r only 2 ways 2 live your life. 1 as tho nothing is a miracle. D other as tho everything is a miracle. Ramadan Mubarak beautiful people!"
And this: "I'm horizontal but controlling and creating my environment to the best of my ability.... That's all we ever need to do! Hope your doing d same! I'm fantastic by the way! Thanks to all your love and wishes!"
