Mumbai, Aug. 9 -- The Lunchbox began making waves ever since it was showcased at the Cannes Film Festival in March 2013. Post that, the cast of the movie - Irrfan Khan and Nawazuddin Siddiqui - have moved on to bigger projects like the Jurassic World and Kick respectively.
But, for a long time, the film's female lead - Nimrat Kaur - was out of the limelight. That was till reports emerged of her joining the cast of an international TV series, Homeland.
Now, apparently, the buzz around it has made the actor nervous. Sources inform us that ever since the news got out about Nimrat's next assignment, she has been receiving congratulatory messages constantly.
Fans have reached out to her on social media, and all this attention is adding to her anxiety. When contacted, Nimrat says, "The response I have got from people is mind-blowing. However, at the same time, I'm also nervous.
People have a lot of expectations from me. I hope everyone likes my role, and it fleshes out well. Also, people should remember that it is just a guest lead appearance. I'm only a part of the show, and it is run by many people." She adds that she has already shot for one episode, and will be going back to Cape Town, South Africa, soon to film more.
