NEW DELHI, Oct. 4 -- Composer-singer-actor Himesh Reshammiya, who is trying his hand at comedy in Damadamm, believes that the movie will be wellreceived by the audience.
"It's a Diwali release, and though it is releasing amid huge competition such as RA.One, I'm very confident that it will make a mark," says the 38-year-old actor, who claims the movie will show his sense of humour. "People perceive me as a very serious person, which I am not in real life. I have a good sense of humour, which will be visible in this film," says Himesh.
Although the actor is confident about the film, he admits he is under pressure to prove his acting mettle after three box-office flops Kajraare (2010), Radio (2009) and Karzzz (2008). "I'm growing as an actor, so there is pressure as an actor on me. Even when I did Aap Ka Suroorr (2007), people had reservations about my acting, but it did very well," says the actor, who is gearing up to break acting and musical grounds internationally with his English film A* Is Killed and album Da Edge respectively.
"I'm really looking forward to my English film where I play the role of a musician and my album Da Edge," he says.
