Over the weekend, we had informed you that Dimple Kapadia had filed a petition in the Bombay High Court asserting that only she and no other woman had right over Rajesh Khanna's property and other belongings as his legally wedded wife.
A similar petition rejecting Anita Advani's claims had also been filed by Dimple's son-in-law Akshay Kumar.
The petition had been filed by Dimple and Akshay after Rajesh Khanna's live-in partner Anita Advani had filed a case in the Metropolitan Magistrate's court in Bandra accusing Kaka's family of domestic violence and demanding for rightful share in Rajesh Khanna's property including his palatial bungalow 'Aashirwad'.
Based on the petition filed by Dimple and Akshay in the HC, Justice K.U.Chandiwal of the Bombay High Court has issued a stay order on the case filed by Advani and Rajesh Khanna's family till December 17.
