Hard to make a place in B-town: Rhea Chakraborty

VJ-turned-actor Rhea Chakraborty has started her innings in Bollywood with comic flick Mere Dad Ki Maruti (MDKM). Standing at the brink of her career graph, she’s aware of industry’s hardships but keeps an optimistic attitude. “It’s very hard to make a place for yourself in the industry. But I believe if you are lucky and talented, things will fall into place,” she says.

The 20-year-old tells us worlds of an actor and a VJ are completely apart. “Both are two different things. As a VJ, you are yourself. But as an actor, you are playing a character that you want people to fall in love with. I have been VJing for three years and I just stumbled upon acting. It’s been fun,” she says. Like every newcomer, she too looks up to some actors in the film industry. “I like Vidya Bala
