Mumbai, March 11 -- Hi da hi my delicious cupcakes! How is the Friday morning treating you? Moi is treating it just like any other day. But thanks to the chatpata nuggets I'm indulging in, I must say it's all very therapeutic and rejuvenating, to say the least. So without digressing, let's get straight to your dose of daily goss.
For starters, it seems like Govinda will never cease to be late... Ever. Sher Lock Holmes tells me that the actor approached a television channel, suggesting they remove one of the judges on their laughathon show, Comedy Ka Maha Muqabla. Kyun? Kyun ki he wanted to be the star judge on it instead.
After all, he's still famous for his comic timing... So what if his last hit comedy film was Partner that released a couple of years ago? Besides, he gave a tough contest to Salman Khan even with his dancing skills in the movie.
Anyway, coming back to Govinda's khwaish, the channel declined his offer. They reasoned that they had already started shooting for the show and ousting any jury member would be very unethical and unprofessional on their part. However, they would keep him in mind and certainly consider his offer when they plan their next comedy show.
Interestingly, this was a diplomatic reasoning by the channelwallahs, says my super sleuth. He reveals that they didn't share the abhineta's enthusiasm. His late-coming and superstitious ways while hosting Jeeto Chhappad Phaad Ke for another channel many years ago, still sends shivers down the TV industry, it seems. Tsk tsk.
