Despite rave reviews, Go Goa Gone and Gippi had an average opening at the box office. Family film Gippi and zombie comedy Go Goa Gone have got an average opening and earned Rs. 75 lakh and Rs. 3.75 crore, respectively, on the opening day at the box office.
Trade analyst Taran Adarsh revealed the first day collections of both the movies, which came out Friday, on Twitter. He tweeted that on Friday Gippi collected Rs. 75 lakh and added: "Go Goa Gone, Gippi dependent on evening/night shows."
Revealing the collection of Go Goa Gone, he wrote that on Friday, the film earned Rs. 3.75 crore and Saturday's collection was Rs. 4.30 crore.
