MUMBAI, March 4 -- Sunny Deol, who has a slew of films releasing this year, has put work on the sequel of his 1990 hit, Ghayal, on hold.
"My target is to release Ghayal Returns in June next year. The pre-production is on and the script is locked, but I have to sit on it once again before the film goes on the floor," says Sunny, who is currently busy promoting director duo Radhika Rao and Vinay Sapru's I Love NY (New Year). The rom-com, which also stars Kangana Ranaut, is set to release on April 26.
Sunny is now hurrying to finish off his other projects - Yamla Pagla Deewana 2, Singh Saab The Great and Bhaiyyaji Superhitt - all which he is shooting almost simultaneously for. He is trying to make time for Ghayal Returns before the film goes on the floors. "I am trying to finish off all my films as soon as possible so that I can have a breathing space of six to eight months to prepare," he says.
The actor has brought director Rahul Rawail - with whom he had worked 14 years ago in Arjun Pandit (1999) - on board to direct the film.
After a long time, the actor has so many films to keep himself busy. Is he finding it difficult to juggle his time? Sunny says, "I think people love to work round the clock and I am enjoying every moment of it."
