Mumbai, Nov. 8 -- School worries are finally over for Madhuri Dixit-Nene. Ever since the actor moved back to India with her husband Dr Sriram Nene and sons Arin and Ryan, her kids' education has been on the top of Madhuri's agenda.
Now, she has finally zeroed in on Oberoi International School in Goregaon. Apparently, Madhuri found the process a bit difficult because she sought admission in the middle of the annual session. She had asked some close friends for advice and even met some school officials to seek help.
Jamnabai Narsee School and Dhirubhai Ambani International School - where Shah Rukh Khan, Saif Ali Khan, Arjun Rampal, Farhan Akhtar and Sachin Tendulkar's kids study - were among the schools shortlisted. Madhuri had even asked her fans on Twitter for suggestions.
Having finally found a school for her kids, Madhuri now heaves a sigh of relief: "Arin and Ryan have started going to school and are really happy." Coincidentally, actor Shilpa Shirodkar, who recently moved back to Mumbai from London, has also chosen the same school for her daughter, Anushka.
On her return, Madhuri exclaims, "We're still getting over jetlag, but the kids are really enjoying everything. It has been a busy time for us, as anyone can imagine." The Olay Regenerist brand ambassador also feels that the city is bustling with energy, just as it was when she left: "And that's what I always missed about Mumbai. Of course, I see a lot of changes around, for example a number of flyovers. Plus, a lot of things - in all the fields - are happening in Mumbai. But for me, the city's energy is wonderful to experience," she says.
