Mumbai, April 14 -- The latest buzz doing the rounds was about director Zoya Akhtar's next. Speculations were rife that the film would star either Ranbir Kapoor or Hrithik Roshan, but Zoya now puts the guesswork to rest by confirming that her film will have her brother Farhan Akhtar in one of the roles.
"Farhan will appear somewhere. That's because I am so used to working with him and he is such a great actor," says Zoya, who has already started working on the script.
Zoya is sketching a character keeping Farhan in mind and she hopes that the actor-director will like it. "I don't think Farhan will agree to just any role that I offer him. I will have to convince him," she says. Zoya further reveals that she is working on two scripts simultaneously with director Reema Kagti. "I always write with Reema and there's no exception this time. Of the two, I will be directing one and the other will be Reema's film," she says.
The director, who made her debut with Luck By Chance (2009), a film that provided a rare insight into the murky lives of struggling actors in Bollywood and then directed 2011's Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara, a light-hearted, road-trip movie, is now set to venture into family territory. "I have to finish the script first. It's a family drama," says Zoya.
