Esha Deol, who is all set to tie the knot with businessman beau Bharat Takhtani, will have a low-key wedding in a temple in suburban Mumbai on 29th of this month. The private ceremony will be followed by a gala reception the very next day, reports a leading daily.
"We want the wedding to be a comparatively private affair with relatives and close friends from both sides in attendance. It is not possible to have the wedding at our home. We chose a temple because it is a perfect place for matrimony," Hema Malini told the daily.
The parents will host a grand reception at a luxury hotel. "We both lead a double life. We are actors and politicians. So we'll have lots of guests at the reception from the film industry and politics," the daily quoted her as saying.
The bride to be is excited about the honeymoon already. "Wedding prep going on and on and on can't wait for da honeymoon," Esha had tweeted.
The couple got engaged on February 12.
Esha got a break in Bollywood in 2002 film Koi Mere Dil Se Poochhe. She went on to feature in films like Chura Liyaa Hai Tumne, Na Tum Jaano Na Hum and Dhoom. Last year, Hema tried to resurrect the 29-year-old's career with Tell Me O Kkhuda, but it bombed at the BO.
