Emraan Hashmi changes schedule for Sanjay Dutt

With Sanjay Dutt’s impending surrender now less than two weeks away, everyone’s scurrying to wrap up their shoots with the actor. So after Aamir Khan shuffled his dates (he was meant to be shooting for Dhoom:3) to shoot for Rajkumar Hirani’s P.K., now Emraan Hashmi too will be doing the same.

“Emraan was supposed to promote his upcoming film Ek Thi Daayan (ETD) in Delhi from April 11 to 14. But as Sanjay needs to wrap up his films quickly, Emraan will take two days out from his ETD schedule and fly to Mumbai to shoot for Karan Johar’s Ungli,” says a source.

Emraan will promote ETD on April 11 and 12 only, while the plans for April 13 to 14 stand cancelled at present.

“He will shoot with Sanjay in Mumbai. Sanjay had earlier shot portions of the film at real locations in the city. The Ungli team is
working hard to wrap up as much as possible. But as Sanjay’s role is a prominent one, it seems Emraan might also shoot on April 15 with him,” says the source.

Ekta Kapoor and Vishal Bhardwaj, co-producers of Ek Thi Daayan, have been summoned to Delhi on April 9 to meet the National Commission of Women and talk about the portrayal of witches in their film. The makers intend to take Emraan Hashmi and Konkana Sen Sharma along
with them. For solidarity,
we suppose.
