The yesteryear superstar will join a host of other celebs and artists to help raise money for charity
Just in case you want to pursue your Samaritan instincts, think art... at least that's what most of our celebs are doing these days. After a host of bigwigs, including Salman Khan, Ratan Tata and Kumarmangalam Birla, now yesteryear superstar Dilip Kumar with wife Saira Banu, soap queen Ektaa Kapoor and Maharashtra chief minister Vilasrao Deshmukh will soon be showing off their artistic skills for charity.
"It's a great endeavor to bring some of the most eminent personalities of India together with the greatest names in the art fraternity to jointly produce or endorse an artwork, which will then be auctioned off later. The money raised from this auction will primarily benefit two of Khushii's projects for the homeless youth and the elderly," says Nisha Jamvwal, board member of NGO Khushii, that is responsible for this endeavor.
Each celebrity will be accompanied by a renowned artist to make sure they give out their best on the canvas. What's more is that all these works of art by celebrities will be auctioned off in October for a charitable purpose.
While Dilip Kumar and Saira Banu will be painting today at their residence with Jatin Das, Vilasrao Deshmukh will be painting on Saturday at his residence Varsha with artist Manu Parekh.
