Mithun Chakraborty will be seen doing Waltz, thanks
to Sandip Soparrkar

Bollywood once swore by his style of dance and now he is all set to come back on stage with yet another smashing number. Though it won't be his good old disco style this time, Mithun Chakraborty will be seen performing the Waltz in his upcoming film 'Phir Kabhi'.

The song which is sequenced around Mithun and newcomer Neha, is a unique display of affection between a grand dad (played by Mithun) and his granddaughter.Says Sandip Soparrkar who is choreographing the song for the dance-king, "When I met him form the first time, it was difficult to believe that this was Mithun Chakraborty who almost personifed Bollywood dance for more than a decade. He is extremely humble and the best part is that he is very inspiring for a dancer. Even at the age of 57, he has al the zest and determination required for a dance number like this." But was it difficult to get Mithun to perform the Waltz which does require some prior training? "Not at all, because he is very open to experiment and also very spontaneous. The song had to convey the feeling of romance and he did it like a perfectionist. Nothing really can stop him."

Though Mithun was unavailable for comment, we're sure none of you would want to miss this unusual comeback of the disco-king.
