Last Friday there was chaos at Bidar Fort in Karnataka where thousands of fans gathered to catch a glimpse of Vidya Balan and Emraan Hashmi who were shooting for The Dirty Picture.
Young men climbed the 30 feet high walls of the Diwan-e-Khas inside the fort to catch a glimpse of the action inside the royal enclosure.
“A major portion of a song is being filmed inside the Diwan-e-Khas and Diwan-e-Aam and fans went wild when Emraan arrived in the morning. Vidya turned up later in the afternoon by which time security had to be upped as the number of onlookers had doubled by the hour,” says a source.
The cops and the staff of the Archaeological Survey of India had a tough time controlling the swelling crowds. Tanuj Garg, CEO, Balaji Motion Pictures, however insists that it was a fairly peaceful crowd.
Dirty Picture being directed by Milan Luthria, archives the journey of South sensation, Silk Smitha, played by Vidya. Besides Emraan, the film co-stars Nasseruddin Shah and Tusshar Kapoor and will open on December 2.
