The censor board had rejected the promo of Bittoo Boss, scheduled to release on April 13. The promo of the film shows everything through the lenses of a cameraman, played by Pulkit. It has guests at a wedding asking the video camera guy to shoot them as well. Dialogues like meri bhi
lo (a shot, in this context) had irked the censor committee.
Though the norm is to slot a film into categories like A, U/A or U rating, but the censor board has introduced Parental Guidance norm for this film.
"Initially I thought that since we do not have stars in our film, there is discrepancy and biased attitude. I also felt it was unfair on their part to raise objection... to reject the promo for the use of this line -- meri bhi lo.
But then they have their own reasons and points, they have to be careful, specially after the song D K Bose," Babul said.
"But once they saw our film they understood what we are trying to show. Few things that they had suggested have been changed, but that we will not hamper or take away from the story. In our film, there is no nudity, violence, etc," he said.
