Mumbai, Sept. 18 -- Vishal Bhardwaj, who shot his upcoming film entirely in different parts of Kashmir, is now lending a helping hand to the people of the flood-ravaged state.

The film-maker is making efforts to send some utilities to the region, which experienced great destruction as a result of its worst flood in 60 years. People from around the country are sending basic amenities to affected parts of the state, individually or through NGOs working towards the same, and Bhardwaj has collaborated with one such NGO to make his contribution.

The film-maker has sent 19 trunks of winter clothes and three bags (weighing 40 kg each) of snow boots. A friend of Bhardwaj confirms the news, "Vishal had got a lot of support while he was shooting for his upcoming film in Kashmir. He experienced the same hospitality when he shot a few portions of Saat Khoon Maaf (2011) there. He has a certain attachment with the people there and thus, he is trying to do whatever he can to help them."
