Mumbai, May 30 -- Not too long ago, there were reports doing the rounds that Vidya Balan was keeping close tabs on her husband, Siddharth Roy Kapur. The reports also suggested that their marriage was in trouble, a claim that Vidya refuted vehemently in an interview in HT Cafe.
Now, since Vidya will soon be seen playing a detective in an upcoming film, the actor was asked by the media at a recent press conference if she had put her recently acquired spying skills to keep tabs on her husband. They even asked if it was part of the process while preparing for the role.
Vidya laughed and replied, "Please keep Siddharth (Roy Kapur) out of this. He is very bhola (innocent), especially in topics like this." When questioned if she had spied on someone in real life, Vidya confessed to "doing just a bit here and there".
Joining the dots, it does seem like those reports about Vidya spying on Siddharth were part of the promotions of her upcoming film. But the actor certainly has mastered the art of skilfully dodging uncomfortable questions and rumours.
